10 year old Poppie Malkin and Amy Billows are getting going - by undertaking a sponsored tough mudder obstacle course to raise money for 'Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital to say thank you to the hospital that saved their grandad and great uncle’s life.
Richard Malkin – who was already a patient at LHCH – was planning to do the course himself to raise funds for LHCH Charity but unfortunately after suffering another heart attack in February he was unable to take part. So, step forward Poppie and Amy - what a lovely pair of kids they are!!
It’s a real family affair for the girls as they have another family member who is also under the care of the hospital as he requires heart surgery – so pun intended it’s a cause that is very close to the whole families hearts.
