"Leadership, Levity and the Power of Baked Alaska: Simple ways to lead people and build business" was launched last month, after Steve Smith put his free time during lockdown to good use and wrote the book that he says was 25 years in the making.
The 52-year-old’s successful 30-year career selling some of the world’s best-known brands has provided the foundation for the book and he draws on his experiences with everyday products, relating them to simple life lessons. He says: “It is management theory that people can relate to their own business or everyday life and I hope people will enjoy reading it and learn something at the same time."
Very generously, Steve has arranged for ten per cent of the proceeds of the book to be donated to various good causes including Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital Charity.
