LHCH had more than one runner “Chasing the Sun” at Heaton Park this year. As well as Aleecia Taylor, Sophie Thomas also took on the challenge after the care her father received here at the hospital.
Sophie said “This year has been one of the hardest times of mine and my family’s life, an absolute rollercoaster of worry and concern for my dad. I think that without the care and skill of the staff at LHCH he wouldn’t still be here and they were so good to us, his family, as well – nothing was too much trouble for them. So, when I was thinking of way that I could say thank you – it was easy to choose to support LHCH Charity.”
Sophie raised an incredible £1,875 to help us continue to provide the help that we do. Thank you so much Sophie, we really appreciate it!
