Grant's Incredible Fundraising Challenge Raises Nearly £18,000

Former LHCH patient Grant has once again gone above and beyond in support of LHCH Charity, raising almost £18,000 through an incredible week of fundraising activities leading up to the Liverpool Half Marathon.

Although Grant has been supporting the Charity for more than two years, this year's challenge marked his most ambitious fundraising effort to date.

Working alongside his fitness group, NGUP Active, and St Helens College, Grant organised a packed programme of events including yoga sessions, a quiz night and an extraordinary 100,000 sit-up challenge. The week culminated in the Liverpool Half Marathon, where participants crossed the finish line knowing they had already achieved something remarkable.

Together, the group has raised almost £18,000 to help enhance care, support innovation and improve the experience of patients and families at Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital.
