A big congratulations to Jack and Imogen from our Respiratory Diagnostics Team who completed a self-supported hike across the UK from coast to coast (Newcastle to Bowness on Solway) to raise funds for LHCH Charity
The pair walked an impressive 13 hours a day on steep hills whilst carrying heavy equipment over four and a half days. Along the way they faced some difficult terrain and very hot weather conditions!
Jack said: “We felt an enormous sense of achievement when we completed the walk but were also sad to have finished since we had such a great time! We felt overwhelmed with the amount of money that we raised for LHCH Charity from lovely friends, family, colleagues and people we met along the way.”
