A huge thank you to Shane Dodds who took part in the Lambert & Foster Paddock Wood Half Marathon earlier this year after we saved his fathers life when he suffered a heart attack four years ago.
Shane said: “I’ll forever be thankful to LHCH for giving my family and I an extra 4 years with him.
I’m not much of a runner so it will be tough but I felt raising money for the Liverpool Heart & Chest Charity was the best way to say thank you for everything and I hope the money raised will help other families in similar situations.”
Shane acheived his goal, completing the run and raising over £850 for LHCH Charity and it looks like he has caught the running bug as he now wants to complete the Brighton Marathon next year for us too!
