At the end of May, Ruth completed the Berlin Super Half, running 13.1 miles in memory of her mum and raising funds for LHCH Charity.
Ruth chose to take on the challenge as a heartfelt way of saying thank you for the care her mum received from Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital
.

Training for and completing a half marathon requires dedication and determination, but for Ruth the event represented something even more personal. Every mile was completed in memory of her mum
and in recognition of the difference that compassionate care can make to patients and their loved ones.
Fundraising in memory of someone special is a powerful way to celebrate their life while helping others who may need the hospital's care in the future.
Everyone at LHCH Charity would like to thank Ruth for her generosity, commitment and support. Her achievement is a wonderful tribute to her mum and an inspiration to others.
If you would like to fundraise in memory of a loved one, we would be delighted to support you every step of the way.
